Posting Summary
Assist to facilitate and instruct multiple sections of general Biology/BioCore laboratories or recitation. Prepare for lab/recitation, conduct lab/recitation sections, and hold office hours. Attend course training and weekly TA meetings, grade student work, and assist with the course exam proctoring and grading. Support Laboratory Coordinator with course preparation and execution.
Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Bachelor’s degree in Biology or related field and prior classroom or research experience with basic biology laboratory methods required.
Desirable Qualifications
Prior teaching experience desirable.

This is a full-time 9-month, 1.0 FTE position with term dates 8/16 – 5/15 to align with the academic year.
