Job Title: Electrical Technician

Job Description

We are seeking an Electrical Technician to join our team in Burnaby, BC. The project is expected to last until mid to end of 2026, with the possibility of further projects. The Electrical Technician will assist in the design, production, operation, and support of various marine robotic systems. You will work both independently and as part of a team, bringing a strong sense of curiosity and a desire to 'learn by doing.' A firm grounding in the safe assembly and testing of complex electrical power and control systems, including high-voltage systems, is essential.

Hard Skills

• 2 years minimum experience working as an Electrical Technician (college diploma is ideal, can be from overseas as well)

• Experience working with 600V

• Scissor Lift certified, SDCB certified, and Fall Pro Certified

• Ability to read engineer drawings (blueprints)

• Experience using a voltmeter

• Hands-on electrical assembly skills (2-3 years)

• Experience with light fabrication using power and hand tools (drill press and band saw)

Pay

$25 - $30/hr depending on experience
