As a Senior Conveyance Engineer you'll be in charge of leading and supporting our water and wastewater projects. You will work with members of our team including a deep bench of subject matter experts. You'll be involved in designing municipal conveyance infrastructure (like watermains, sewers, pump stations, etc.) using the latest standards and software. You'll also be responsible for preparing engineering studies, reports, drawings, specifications, contract documents, proposals, cost estimates, be the Engineer of Record for your area of expertise and more. You may also provide construction administration services and field engineering services during construction. And you'll get to build strong relationships with our clients, secure new work, and mentor our junior staff.

The base salary range for this position is $132,800 to $74,225. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across British Columbia, Canada locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Here’s what you’ll need :

Qualifications - External

· Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or a related discipline such as Environmental, Mechanical, Biosystems, or Chemical) and/or equivalent experience

· Licensed (or eligible to be licensed) as a professional engineer in the Province of British Columbia

· 15 years of directly applicable consulting experience working with municipal clients in engineering or project management roles

· Strong aptitude for technical design, writing and verbal communication related to municipal water and wastewater infrastructure (watermains, sewers, condition assessment and rehabilitation, pump stations, valve chambers, pressure reducing stations etc.)

Ideally, you’ll also have:

· Design and project management experience of large infrastructure

· Design experience and serving as the Engineer of Record for large water and wastewater infrastructure including pipelines (rural and urban), pump stations, PRV Stations, and Valve Chamber

· Experience assisting project managers and multidisciplinary and multi-office project teams on medium and large consulting projects

· Experience managing and coordinating multiple disciplines on small to large projects, including the ability to successfully manage scope, schedule, and budget

· Experience in trenchless design with methods such as HDD, TBM and MTBM would be beneficial.

· Experience in condition assessment, rehabilitation would be beneficial.

· Experience in report writing

· Experience in proposal preparation and lead

· Experience with Metro Vancouver projects and relationship would be beneficial.

· Experience in Alternate delivery methods would be beneficial.
