Te am Waste , a Waste Connections Company, is currently seeking experienced safety-conscious Landfill Laborer to join the team at Quad County Landfill in Byhalia, MS . Previous landfill or waste experience would be a huge plus , but willing to train the right candidate.

Th e p osition is a Day Shift working Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays working usually 50-55 hours a week.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE :

• Checking trucks in and out of the landfill and directing traffic at site as necessary

• Directing traffic

• Speaking directly with the customers on safety and traffic control

• Helping customers with any and all needs

• Working either outside in all weather conditions or from a truck

• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to adhere to Company policies and rules that are set forth; promotes the Company’s safety standards; work with a sense of honesty, integrity and trustworthiness

• Ability to adhere to work schedule and follow through on challenges as they aris

• One year of stable employment history in a similar environment
