IBM Financial Functional Consultant - Oracle - Western Canada CIC in Calgary, Alberta

We are seeking an intermediate financial functional consultant with experience in supporting Oracle Fusion applications.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Provide application functional support and a team lead for Oracle ERP Cloud modules (Financials)

  • Analyze user issues, diagnose root causes, and provide timely resolutions.

  • Provide Impact analysis for Oracle Quarterly Updates in Financials

  • Conduct Functional and System Integration Testing

  • Escalate technical issues to appropriate teams and track their progress.

  • Contribute to process improvements and optimization.

  • Conduct user training and workshops, as required.

  • Requirement for this role is remote

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • 3+ years of experience performing the role of a Functional Consultant supporting Oracle ERP Financials and Procurement related systems.

  • At least 5 years of demonstrated experience as Functional Consultant.

  • Experience supporting ERP Applications in Oracle ERP Cloud Fusion Financials, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Asset Management.

  • Strong knowledge of Oracle ERP Cloud with experience in GL, AR, AP, Cash Management and FA modules

  • Knowledge of Projects is a plus

  • Good understanding of Record to Report process, decent understanding of procure to pay process

  • Analytical/troubleshooting skills including understanding of ERP processes;

  • Plan and execute changes for special processing

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Oracle Cloud HCM experience

  • Payroll or HR support

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent
