Continental O_Maintenance Manager ( Carei) in Carei, Romania

Supervision and coordination of all functions, processes and operations in the maintenance team

  • Transposition of the maintenance team's strategy into action plans at the company level;

  • Contributes to the strategic and operational planning of the company/production unit (eg investments);

  • Ensuring the integration of TPM in the production area (maintenance plan, execution of preventive maintenance, quality of preventive maintenance, implementation of autonomous maintenance, registration and improvement of reactive maintenance, approach to predictive maintenance);

  • The assignment of repair activities and estimates the costs involved;

  • Ensuring the achievement of the goals of the manufacturing engineering department according to internal and external customer expectations;

  • Initiates and controls investments for the maintenance, installation, disconnection, moving, improvement and maintenance at a high level of all production equipment (eg production equipment) and manufacturing equipment (machine installation/maintenance equipment);

  • Initiates and implements continuous improvement activities by applying CBS methods;

  • Interface for segment, BU or divisional functions to assimilate maintenance requirements and apply them within the manufacturing engineering department (eg ESH and ergonomics);

  • Leads dialogue with employees, sets objectives, monitors development and performance, provides coaching and mentorship where needed;

  • Ensuring the installation, start-up, validation and handover to production of all production and logistics equipment, as well as for tools (incl. tool management) and production devices according to the production control plan and the standards in force;

  • Conducting audits (5S, LPA) in production and identifying equipment that requires additional maintenance work;

  • Maintains all production equipment in working conditions to ensure their functionality in case they will be needed in production;

  • Ensuring the implementation of the standards agreed by the factory or BU;

  • Feedback and input for the development of standards from the manufacturing engineering department, of production processes (e.g. production flow plan, production control plan, work instructions, standardized work chart, combined work table, job instruction sheet, process parameters, materials) , of production equipment (e.g. machinery, machine interface, ergonomics, equipment, layout), logistics (e.g. material management and technology storage) and quality standards (e.g. testing methods, equipment) to segment, BU and divisional functions;

  • Creating and managing all maintenance documentation (general instructions, preventive and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting manuals and guides, reaction modes...etc.).

  • University studies, preferably in production and engineering management, industrial engineering or similar

  • 3 or more years in a leadership position, preferably in a team with technical and multidisciplinary tasks
