Job Description:

Inputs and processes orders for materials or merchandise from sales staff or direct customer contact. Maintains customer files with sales contract and other information. Distributes order sheets to respective departments. Coordinates with departments regarding order status, shipping dates, prices, product availability and back orders. Tracks sales shipment, delivery, billing and backlog activities. Interfaces with customers in response to inquiries regarding status of orders. Resolves customer order difficulties and ensures customer requests are handled appropriately and in a timely manner.

  • Highly developed support individual contributor. Works autonomously. May act as a mentor to lower level peers and provide guidance on tasks. Makes recommendations for solutions. Works on assignments requiring judgment and initiative.

  • Communicates with contacts typically within and outside the department on matters that involve obtaining or providing information requiring explanation or interpretation to understand and reach agreement. Makes recommendations for solutions.

  • Communicates within and outside of own function or business area and has responsibility for communicating with parties external to the organization (Customers and Suppliers).

  • Work is structured within identified boundaries and procedures. May work on assignments requiring judgment and initiative. Uses knowledge and experience to resolve issues.

  • Works to achieve operational targets within job area which has impact on the overall achievement of results for the team. Work is of larger scope, typically on less structured task-related activities requiring judgement.

  • May be responsible for processes within job area and recommend enhancements to systems and processes.

  • Manage projects or processes with general supervision.

  • Ability to travel on a limited basis (5-10%).

    Qualifications:

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.

    Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Microsoft Office Tools proficiency

  • Experienced ERP user (SAP)

  • Have strong and effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills that will facilitate in creating and maintaining a collaborative work environment

    In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $53,000 - $99,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
