Facilitate and drive the Implementation and compliance with the different HSE-Safety programs at Site Operations and Projects. Responsibilities:Ensure compliance with HSE-Safety:General•Serve as primary HSE contact for the assigned areas.•Be a resource to the operational areas and projects in helping them understand the regulatory requirements of their areas and programs, work with them in implementing solutions that comply with these regulations and programs. •Conduct periodic visits and inspections to the assigned areas (whenever possible visits should be daily).•Provide coaching in the HSE programs implementation.•Work together with Management and Supervision to achieve EHS objectives and goals.•Facilitate execution of HSE initiatives and HSE Plan actions.•Provide/facilitate HSE metrics for assigned areas.•Be a technical resource to review and approve User Requirements and Change Controls.•Assessor and approver for H&S events for the assigned areas.•Identify areas to improve, suggest alternatives and work as a team with the operational areas to implement the improvements.•Conduct, provide direction, and facilitate awareness campaigns and activities aligned with events trends and safety culture efforts.•Develop plans to address survey results, reflections, trends.•Be on call 24 hours/7 days to assist our clients. Safety Program:Responsible to revise the written program and training, offer applicable trainings, design the implementation strategy, work directly with the areas for implementation and troubleshooting, audit compliance, follow up until completion, be a technical resource and ensure sustainment for the assigned programs:•Lockout/Line breaking•Electrical Safety•Open Flame•Contractor Safety•Machine Guarding•Fall Prevention•Confined Spaces•Material/Equipment Handling•Fire Safety•Safety CultureBasic Requirements:•Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Chemical or Electrical preferred) 1-4 years of experience with demonstrated examples of learning agility or 5-10 years of proven experience in similar position. Salary commensurate with experience.•Experience supporting projects/construction safety, preferred.Additional Skills/Preferences:•Bilingual (English and Spanish)•Ability to establish positive interpersonal relationships and interact with people•Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects at once•Exercising good judgment and decision-making•Work under minimal supervision•Knowledgeable in GMPs, GDPs, Computerized System•Strong technical writing abilities and compliance mindset.
