Purpouse:

Ensure the business model in the Bolivar region, which is the second zone for the North Coast Business Unit is close to 30% of total sales. The complexity in this region is around maintaining the vibrancy of our brands in a market in which competitors have been working consistently and aggressively in the last years.

The Sales Area Manager represents Diageo towards our Customers in the region, working in partnership with the distributor team, and is accountable for the end-to-end commercial agenda.

Builds and completes the region business plan, improving the commercial opportunity to win share and exponentially grow the business.

About You:

  • Win share and beat the plan in terms of sales, distribution, brand activation and commercial standards execution. Ensure no “Out of Stocks”, sustainable “Rate of Sales”, and “Stock in Trade” via “Sell Out Plans”. Reputation: become referred supplier for our top customer across channels/regions.

  • Bring “Customer Centric Approach” to all conversations and have a clear understanding of the competitor landscape.

  • Unleash the power and pride of the commercial ecosystem improving and simplifying processes and developing leadership and functional capabilities across the distributor´s region team.

  • Bachelors degree.

  • Experience: At least 6 years in Sales/Trade Marketing/Marketing in CPG companies. At least 2 years in field sales.

  • ENTREPRENEURIAL MINDSET: The successful entrepreneur perseveres and is curious to learning. He is a visionary and does not allow himself to be overwhelmed by the eventualities that arise on the road to success. He knows how to run risks and makes decisions under pressure.

Lead from the front to attack these issues with tenacity and courage setting the tone for the rest of the organization.
