Construction Delivery Helper

• Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 4 PM

• $18 an hour

Job Description

Assist the delivery team by loading and unloading construction materials for trucks going out to project sites. Ride with a CDL driver to jobsites to drop materials at the construction site. Materials include drywall, metal framing, and ceiling tile for commercial and residential projects. Unload trucks by hand onto a cart and wheel it into buildings as materials can't be stored outside. This is a very physical job, but equipment like boom trucks, lifts, pully carts, and dollies are used to make it easier. Expect around 3-10 different deliveries per day, depending on the workload. When carrying drywall, it is lifted with 2 people to avoid injuries.
