In this role, you will:

  • Participate in a variety of assigned and ongoing business operations to ensure success in meeting business goals and objectives

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement by conducting root cause testing of all compliance and business metrics

  • Determine areas of strength or Business Execution opportunity within defined scope of work

  • Review and research strategies and action plans to establish effective processes while meeting performance metrics and policy expectations

  • Utilize independent judgment to guide moderate risk deliverables

  • Present recommendations to develop, implement, and monitor strategic approaches, effectiveness of support function, and business performance improvement opportunities for managing risks of the business

  • Exercise independent judgment and provide guidance in diverse support functions and operations for a single business group within a line of business

  • Collaborate and consult with leaders and executive management

  • Provide work direction to less experienced Strategy and Execution staff

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Certifications in one or more of the following: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US), Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM), or other relevant certifications

  • Incident Response experience including the ability to autonomously lead or participate in the management of Compromised Data, Privacy, Financial Crimes, or similar incidents

  • Ability to manage incidents by directing leaders, partners, and employees at all levels and across all functional and international lines, often in complex and challenging situations requiring a rapid response, preparing customer and regulatory notifications in conjunction with the Legal Department and associated LOB/Region leadership as appropriate

  • Experience with regulations and laws affecting data compromise including the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA 501b), General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), U.S. state and jurisdictions data breach laws and foreign laws and regulations

  • Capability to consistently meet required timelines, accurately and thoroughly investigating the incidents and following through to resolution with little to no direction

  • Lead and participate in incident debriefs and walkthroughs with partners and LOB leaders.

  • Financial services industry experience

  • A DSR is an individual's right to request to access, delete, and correct personal information WellsFargo has on file about them

  • Data Security & Privacy experience

  • Risk management and mitigation experience

  • Ability to facilitate meetings that effectively drive conclusions, identify tasks, record actions, and achieve results

  • Risk and regulatory compliance experience

  • Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are essential

  • Ability to work effectively in a virtual team environment

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Job Expectations:

  • Ability to work on-site at one of the listed locations.

  • This position will include after-hours on call rotation during the week and weekends.

  • Monday - Friday 8 AM - 5 PM ET
