Please review the following job description:

Responsible for driving and meeting program deliverables associated with Workday. Consult actively with stakeholders to identify and define requirements, create project plans, and manage the timely and accurate implementation of solutions. Manage high visibility and highly complex projects across multiple lines of business that significantly impact the organization. Will take an E2E view of the program to ensure data governance, testing, requirements, automation opportunities, etc. Responsible for defining and driving measurement and metric strategy along with partnering to develop analytical analysis and cadence for performance (including optimization, defect/incident management and teammate impacts).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Provide leadership and direction to experienced professionals in the project management and business analyst capacities as it relates to development and modification of modules.

  2. Engage in the daily operations of the team, including establishing priorities, developing standards, and ensuring deadlines are met.

  3. Consult with key senior stakeholders and provide design direction, guidance, and implementation recommendations for complex projects and initiatives.

  4. Lead, manage, or support one or more of the following on any given initiative: business case development, organizational readiness assessment, risk assessment, project plan development and management, requirements gathering, and test strategy and execution.

  5. Provide planning, leadership and project coordination in the development, ongoing maintenance and releases tied to Workday.

  6. Act as a liaison between lines of business, configuration resources, technology, and functional COE partners to ensure requirements are accurately documented, understood, and met. Owns ongoing monitoring of trends related to incidents/defects and production issues across the platforms, utilizing those results to drive process improvement. Works with various partner groups to implement changes. Works closely with broader team and partners from Legal, Audit and Risk to ensure operating model is effective and meets all recommended guidelines, including documentation preparation as required.

  7. Explores opportunities to qualitatively assess improvement opportunities and to drive automation across platform and supporting processes, as well as, instill agile methodologies in managing product priorities.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.

  2. 5+ years of related experience and extensive knowledge of Workday and human capital management or HR Information Systems.

  3. 5 years of project management experience with emphasis on executing project tasks to achieve on-time and on-budget implementations in a large corporate environment.

  4. Excellent presentation, facilitation, and interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to express complex, multidisciplinary technical and business concepts in terms that are understandable to all levels within the business unit, technical unit, and corporate management

  5. Detail-oriented with a high degree of organizational skills and the ability to effectively prioritize and juggle multiple complex projects and deadlines simultaneously across applications

  6. Experience with complex stakeholder management experience across functions and areas of the business with large corporation. Strong influencing skills to influence a range of internal and external, technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  7. Strong leadership skills with ability to work with a diverse stakeholder group and workforce to drive results through collaborative partnerships.

  8. Passion for innovation, continuous improvement and automation to reduce manual operational steps in processes and to articulate return on investment opportunities.

  9. Strong analytical skills and demonstrated ability to conceptualize HR application solutions in order to support business requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Master’s degree in Business or other related field PMP certification

  2. Advanced certification achieved with Workday

  3. Experience working in an Agile environment

  4. Experience working in Financial Services
