Wells Fargo Lead Information Security Engineer in CHARLOTTE, North Carolina

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Information Security Engineer in Cybersecurity to support Wells Fargo Identity Access Management. This position is a technical role that will assist with support of the production and test infrastructure and system for the IBM Security Identity Manager system. The role will be one of a small team of on and offshore engineers to assist with maintaining the availability and performance of the production and test systems.

In this role, you will:

  • Provides Application/Production support in areas of incident management, monitoring and request fulfilment

  • Provide support to OIM by handling problem tickets, stuck requests, server maintenance, Configuration management, administration, patching (Middleware and ISIM) and deployments

  • Performing Health Check, Maintenance & Release activities

  • Provide security consulting on large projects for internal clients to ensure

  • Monitor, Review and correlate security logs

  • Utilize subject matter knowledge in industry leading security solutions and best practices to implement one or more components of information security such as availability, integrity, confidentiality, risk management, threat identification, modeling, monitoring, incident response, access management, and business continuity

  • Identify security vulnerabilities and issues, perform risk assessments, and evaluate remediation alternatives

  • Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including managers

  • Lead a team to achieve objectives

Required Qualifications, US:

  • 5+ years of Information Security Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • 5+ years of IBM Security Identity Manager (ISIM) experience

  • 3+ years of IBM WebSphere application and Network Deployment Topology

  • 3+ years of Directory Server (IBM LDAP or any LDAP Server)

  • 3+ years of Database Server (DB2 or Oracle)

  • 3+ years of IBM WebSphere application security

Desired Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge or experience in Role-based Access Control methods

  • Strong trouble shooting skills

  • Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities

  • Experience working in a large enterprise environment

  • Knowledge and understanding of banking or financial services industry

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Job Expectations:

  • On-call schedule is 10AM-10PM rotating every 10 weeks
