About the Opportunity

The Marketing Manager is responsible for shaping the ELGi North America brand and promotional strategy for multiple products and businesses with varying stakeholders.

As Marketing Manager for ELGi North America, you will:

  • Actively engage with leaders of each business and crafts marketing plans to drive awareness, consideration, and conversion that will enable achieving respective business targets
  • Propose and pitch the marketing budget in partnership with the global marketing team; periodically reviews spend to forecast with the finance team to ensure alignment
  • Assess the role of PR for the business and creates a PR plan that includes main line and industrial trade media
  • Assess the relevance of social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, etc. in generating awareness, consideration, and purchase; executes social media marketing strategies accordingly
  • Utilize SEO/SEM to set and manage website traffic based on business goals
  • Ensure lead generation investments are generating positive ROI; explores new avenues as appropriate
  • Continually assess CRM processes to ensure they adequately measure the efficacy of sales activities
  • Identify and lead the execution of participation in trade shows to ensure proper brand representation and ROI
  • Partner with business leaders to determine opportunities for expanding the e-mail marketing program; works collaboratively to develop content that delivers leads and registers industry-leading engagement
  • Work with business leaders to identify value propositions for sales and service; determines how to integrate value propositions into sales materials; partners with global marketing team to develop collateral
  • Other tasks as needed or assigned

About You

The Marketing Manager role may be a match for you if you have the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or another relevant field, 5+ years' strategic marketing leadership experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proven knowledge of best practices around digital marketing, SEO/SEM, and lead generation
  • Experience working cross-functionally within a global organization
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to lead and influence people
  • Self-motivated with the ability to develop a plan and own its execution
  • Demonstrated ability to develop working knowledge of electromechanical equipment and commercial industry dynamics
