We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer with expertise in DAX and SQL programming to join our dynamic team. As a Power BI Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions using Power BI tools and technologies. Your primary focus will be on transforming complex data sets into visually appealing and actionable insights for decision-making purposes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for Power BI dashboards and reports.

• Design and develop Power BI data models, reports, and dashboards that meet business needs and adhere to best practices.

• Utilize DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and SQL programming skills to perform data transformations, calculations, and manipulations within Power BI.

• Optimize data models and queries for performance and efficiency to ensure smooth and responsive user experiences.

• Work closely with data engineers and data architects to integrate data from various sources into Power BI for analysis and visualization.

• Implement security measures and data governance policies to protect sensitive information within Power BI solutions.

• Conduct thorough testing and troubleshooting of Power BI reports and dashboards to ensure accuracy and reliability of insights.

• Provide training and support to end-users on navigating and utilizing Power BI tools effectively.

• Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in Power BI and related technologies to continuously improve and innovate our BI solutions.

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

• Proven experience as a Power BI Developer or similar role, with a strong understanding of data visualization concepts and techniques.

• Proficiency in DAX and SQL programming languages for data manipulation and analysis.

• Solid understanding of relational database concepts and experience working with SQL Server or similar database management systems.

• Familiarity with data modeling principles and techniques, including star schema, snowflake schema, and dimensional modeling.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

• Self-motivated and proactive, with a passion for learning and staying updated on emerging technologies in the BI space.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with other BI tools such as Tableau, QlikView, or MicroStrategy.

• Knowledge of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and tools, such as SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) or Azure Data Factory.

• Certification in Power BI or related Microsoft technologies is a plus.

• Experience working in agile development environments and familiarity with agile methodologies.
