The global Information Technology (IT) Function is leading efforts to align IT and Business Strategy, leverage IT investments, and optimize end to end business processes and associated information integration technologies. Through these efforts, IT helps to improve the competitive position of Corning's businesses through IT enabled processes. IT also delivers Information Technology applications, infrastructure, and project services in a cost efficient manner to Corning worldwide.

Scope of Position:

The SAP S/4 FICO analyst will partner with IT and teams to deliver functionality in S/4 Hana as part of the ERP transformation program. This individual will work across functions to develop and configure solutions per communicated business requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with Solution Architects to develop solutions and implement functional capability in the focus area of Finance and Controlling processes.

  • Understand the Global Template objective and support driving standard configuration capabilities.

  • Support process improvements in their work area

  • Hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance and Central Finance including understanding technical settings in SAP Central Finance and the necessary landscape design including integration via Magnitude SourceConnect - Central Payments and Central Cash Application, SAP Group Reporting (Consolidations), SAP Treasury Management, Cash Management and Bank Account Management

  • FI module components including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Banks (including integration), and Treasury

  • CO module components including Cost Centers, Internal Orders, Product Costing including: Profitability Analysis (COPA), Manufacturing Variances and Settlements, and Profit Centers, Master Data components including COA, Profit Centers, Cost Centers, Material Master, Vendor Master, Customer Master, Bank Master, BOMs and Routings.

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities:

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in IT management, computer science, computer engineering, or management information systems with five years relevant experience (or other relevant education with 10+ years relevant experience).

  • Five or more years of IT or equivalent business/industry work experience in a relevant subject area.

Required Skills

  • Functional/technical proficiency with at least 3+ full lifecycle SAP implementation and 5+ years of industry

  • High-performing professional with experience in service management and delivery along with implementation experience.

  • Ability in building/perfecting organizational processes and measurement systems and functional experience with a proven track-record of delivering IT solutions.

  • Effective leadership, organization, and planning skills, with ability to manage multiple and/or changing priorities.

  • Creative, innovative, strong analytical and critical thinking skills

  • Initiative-taker with ability to coordinate and motivate cross-functional and distributed teams.

  • Strategic agility and managing ambiguous conditions.

  • Excellent communications and people skills. Can communicate and engage across multiple constituencies in a way that influences service outcomes and steers toward change objectives.

  • Must have a passion for success. Must demonstrate a proven willingness to go the extra mile, to take on the things that need to be done and can adapt to change.

Desired Skills:

  • IT Industry trend awareness, operational management & strategic direction setting experience will be a plus.

  • Solution Manager/Focused Build Experience (including Agile Project Management mindset)

  • Experience developing and managing relationships with internal and external resources.

  • Project management skills

Travel Requirement:

Ability to accommodate travel up to 15%.

The range for this position is $104,801.00 - $144,102.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
