Robert Half Seasonal Project Assistant in Charlotte, North Carolina

Description We are in search of a Seasonal Project Assistant to join our non-profit organization located in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role will primarily involve managing volunteer groups, handling data entry and customer service tasks, and ensuring the smooth operation of various projects.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently handle and coordinate various tasks and groups simultaneously, demonstrating strong organizational skills.

• Use proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, along with familiarity with database programs, to process and maintain accurate records.

• Communicate effectively with volunteers and volunteer groups, including scheduling, confirming attendance, and detailing their event.

• Display an outgoing personality and comfort in speaking to large groups, enhancing the volunteer experience.

• Welcome volunteers, ensure their sign-in through CERVIS, and provide them with necessary training or orientation for their volunteer activities.

• Supervise volunteers during their visit, ensuring they are comfortable and productive in their tasks.

• Assist with client interviews and input their information during registration.

• Perform other duties as assigned throughout the season, demonstrating adaptability.

• Utilize skills in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, organizing files, scanning, and shipping functions as necessary.

• Provide excellent customer service, resolving any customer inquiries and monitoring customer accounts. Requirements • Demonstrates strong Customer Service skills, with a proven ability to engage effectively with a variety of individuals

• Experienced in Data Entry, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy

• Shows capability to Manage Timelines, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with skills in creating spreadsheets, charts, and formulas

• Experience with Microsoft Outlook, including managing emails and scheduling appointments

• Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, capable of creating detail-oriented presentations

• Skilled in Microsoft Word, with the ability to create, edit, and format documents

• Displays strong organizational skills, particularly in Organizing Files, ensuring easy access and retrieval of information

• Experienced in Scanning, with the ability to handle high volumes of documents efficiently

• Knowledgeable in Shipping Functions, ensuring all items are properly packaged and sent in a timely manner.
