ManpowerGroup Sr. Database Management Consultant (SQL and SAS) - Charlotte, NC in Charlotte, North Carolina

ManpowerGroup has partnered with a leading Financial Services organization in Charlotte NC for a contract Senior Data Management Analyst.

Position: Senior Data Management Analyst

Location: Charlotte, NC, or Minneapolis MN (Onsite)

Pay: $59/Hour

Years of Experience: 5 years’ experience

Anticipated Duration of Assignment: 18-24 Months

Contract to Hire/Contract/Perm: Contract

Work Authorization: Must be able to work without sponsorship

Overall, Scope:

  • Support consumer banking within the client with reports and insights for the national branch network and executive leadership team.

  • Data Architecture Project.

  • Producing master data sets, building out data tests, and testing.

Top Skills:

  1. Proficient in SAS and SQL (ability to pull data off existing code and modify code).

  2. Data Validation.

  3. Ability to query data.

  4. Familiarity with BI tools, especially Power BI.

  5. Metadata - reviewing metadata and documenting.

  6. Technical Documentation of activities within data sets.

Must-Have:

  1. 5 years of experience in data management.

  2. Proficiency in SAS and SQL, with the ability to read and understand code.

  3. Data validation and querying skills.

  4. Familiarity with BI tools, especially Power BI.

  5. Experience in creating large data sets and documenting the work.

  6. Strong communication and collaboration skills.

  7. Intellectual curiosity and critical thinking.

Candidate must be able demonstrate:

  1. Large data sets and how you documented the work?

  2. How did you ensure data validation and document the data set?

Preferred Industry Experience:

  • Preference for candidates with banking experience (financial services is a plus but not required).

Cultural/Soft Skills:

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to collaborate across team members and coordinate efforts.

  • High level of intellectual curiosity and critical thinking.
