Qualifications

What you will do:

  • You will supervise a team of FTTH in-home and SMB installation technicians

  • You will coach, counsel, and evaluate performance of field staff.

  • You will coordinate scheduling, assist dispatch with daily job routing and ensure adequate staffing.

  • You will identify problem areas in the department and communicate problems and possible solutions to the Project Manager.

  • You will develop procedures and implement them to better organize the team/department.

  • You will assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority to technicians.

  • You will assist in recruitment and training efforts.

  • You will assist in warehousing and logistics support as needed to supplement the warehouse staff

  • You will establish, implement, and maintain operating standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation.

  • You will track employee performance, tool assignments, vehicle assignments, uniforms, consumable items, etc. through the creation and use of spreadsheets and other documents

  • You will perform quality control inspections to correct and coach any issues found

  • You will interface with customers to resolve complaints and damages resulting from installation work

  • You will perform various field technician duties as needed, including but not limited to, carrying and climbing a ladder when necessary.

  • You will perform other duties not listed here, as the y arise, and as they are assigned to you.

    Who we are looking for:

  • Must have a minimum of 1 year fiber optic or cable installation experience.

  • Must be able to perform mandatory job site inspections to ensure employee compliance with all company safety policies and procedures.

  • Must have a high School Diploma or G.E.D.

  • Must be able to work a very flexible schedule.

  • Must be able to work in a fast paced time sensitive environment

  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks and last-minute changes

  • Must have exceptional customer service experiences

  • Must be a team player.

  • Former supervisory experience a plus.

  • Valid driver's license with minimum of 2 years driving experience and a good driving record.
