Job Title: Construction Manager

Job Description

Our client is hiring a construction manager to join their CM team and work full time for a 2-3 month assignment. You will start by overseeing approximately 2 months of work on a renewable project in Elam, VA. Candidates can come from a construction management or superintendent background and must have experience overseeing either civil or electrical construction projects. Experience supporting solar projects is a must. You will oversee the work performed by a civil subcontractor, be available to answer their questions, and take daily/weekly progress reports utilizing Procore software. Additional duties may be assigned by your supervisor.

Hard Skills

  • Experience managing subcontractors

  • Tracking materials

  • Creating progress reports

  • Communicating with clients

  • Using Procore software

  • Experience in civil or electrical construction projects

  • Experience supporting solar projects

Soft Skills

  • Strong communication skills

  • Ability to manage a team of 5-10 people

This is a contract position with a duration of 12 Week(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Work Environment

You can expect to be in the field at various projects in VA, typically mirroring the hours of the subcontractors you are overseeing.
