Chesapeake Hospitality is seeking a proven and dynamic General Manager to oversee the day to day operations of the Hotel Indigo Chattanooga Downtown.
The Hotel Indigo Chattanooga Downtown is centrally located in the heart of downtown Chattanooga, just steps or short taxi ride to the most popular attractions in the city including Chattanooga Lookout, Tennessee River boardwalk, Museums, Restaurants and more. The boutique hotel offers 90 rooms and suites, 5,000 square feet of vibrant meeting space, 24-hour state-of-the-art fitness center, a bar lounge, and a full-service restaurant located on the lobby level.

As a Chesapeake Hospitality General Manager, your responsibilities will be to lead and effectively manage all hotel functional areas (Food and Beverage, Rooms, Sales, Human Resources, Accounting, and Maintenance) to maximize financial performance while upholding quality standards and maximizing the guest experience. This will include developing strategies, marketing plans, operational goals, and ensuring that business decisions are in line with the company's mission, values, and guiding principles.
Experience managing branded hotels preferably IHG
A proven track record of delivering outstanding guest experiences for all hotel guests
Ability to take full-service hotels of similar size and character to greater heights and make them market leaders
Proven aptitude to communicate and bridge relationships with guests, employees, corporate, ownership, the community and stakeholders
Demonstrated knowledge and implementation of cutting edge sales, e-commerce and revenue management practices
Verified experience managing Food & Beverage operations
Operational excellence and drive to be the best
