Job Description

Overview:

We are seeking a finance professional to fill the position of Global Shared Services Manager. Reporting to the Vice President and Controller. This position will be primarily focused on leading the Accounts Payable and Credit Management teams based in Chelmsford, UK and Waterloo, Ontario, Canada.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a global team of 28 including 3 direct reports,

  • Responsible for finance shared services consisting of Credit and Collections, Accounts Payable and employee expenses,

  • Ensure timely processing of invoices and expenses in accordance to policy,

  • Provide consistent and accurate cash forecasting for inflow and outflow activities to achieve cashflow targets,

  • Drive process improvement and alignment within the shared services organisation,

  • Lead and coordinate the annual SOX walkthrough and narrative update process,

  • Manage internal and external audits for the UK,

  • Serve as Global process owner for SAP ERP system improvements for Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable,

  • Ensure compliance and adherence to internal controls, policies, and procedures,

  • Support ad hoc projects and duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA.

  • Demonstrable management experience with global medium-large teams.

  • Multi-company environment.

  • SAP experience is desirable.

  • Familiarity with US GAAP, UK GAAP, SOX.

  • Willingness to travel (approx. 25%).
