Job Summary

We are thrilled to offer an outstanding opportunity at Emerson for a talented CAD Developer! We are seeking a CAD Automation Engineer to join our dynamic Pressure Management Team. This role involves both independent work and collaborative effort within a team setting, primarily focused on developing an automated tool for generating general agreement drawings, incorporating them into our proprietary application. Additionally, you will play a vital role in liaising with Design Engineers and Product Managers to resolve any queries regarding the automation of product drawings

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Understand the construction of each product and create the assembly workflow.

  • Work with internal stake holders to understand the products.

  • Automate the Product drawings with respect to the assembly workflow for the preparation of General Arrangement Drawing.

  • Write code for product drawing automation.

  • Test the product within our applications in cooperation with other team members.

  • Troubleshoot the issues during deployment of each product drawing.

  • Contribute to the overall quality of the organization in the testing of all products.

  • Collaborate with other teams during deployment of product drawings to Production.

  • Develop the document for assembly workflow.

  • Coordinating with team members and cross-functional teams

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in Autodesk Products/ NX CAD.

  • Experience with VB.Net, C, C++.

  • Knowledge in Inventor iLogic.

  • Experience with PLM Software preferably Teamcenter.

  • Experience in ERP Software. (SAP/Oracle Preferred)

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Degree in Mechanical/Automobile/Aeronautical/Production Engineering

  • Basic understanding of Engineering Standards

  • Experience with creating Models and assemblies.

  • Good knowledge of Power Platforms.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
