Job Title: General Production Worker

Job Description

We are looking for dedicated General Production Workers to join our team at both our Alsip and Chicago Heights facilities. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Putting caps and lids on bottles

  • Bottling products into boxes and cases

  • Placing bottles, caps, lids into boxes

  • Sorting and separating finished products

  • Packing jugs and bottles into boxes

  • Lifting and staging boxes

  • Palletizing and wrapping boxes and containers

  • Placing boxes and products into sealer machinery

  • Performing quality inspections by counting, sorting, and size

  • Placing tags and labels on products and boxes

  • Pulling cases off the line, stacking on pallets

  • Wrapping and staging cases and boxes

  • Working on multiple lines - Packaging product

  • Assisting operators with batch mixing and janitorial work

  • Assisting in making batches, weighing out product liquid, and prep work for batches

  • Documenting all orders

  • Working with drums and totes

  • Lifting up to 55lbs

  • Housekeeping duties including sweeping, mopping, taking out trash, and salting parking lots during snow

Shifts:

  • 0 x 1st shift: 7:30a-4:00p ($16.25/hr)

  • 2 x 2nd shift: 3:30p-12:00a ($17.35/hr)

  • 6 x 3rd shift: Sun-Thurs night 11:30p-8:00a ($18.45/hr) must train on 1st shfit for a couple weeks before moving to 3rd shift

Currently, we are working Saturday OT full shifts. Flexibility is crucial as you may need to move between packaging and formulation tasks.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Alsip, Illinois.

Work Environment

Alsip Facility: A modern, very clean, temperature-controlled facility divided between the production floor and warehouse. Safety is a massive focus, and the facility was remodeled in the last 10 years. The smaller workforce includes about 10-15 people on 1st shift and about half that on 2nd shift.

Chicago Heights Facility: A larger, temperature-controlled facility with a bigger workforce housing a few hundred across shifts. While it may not be as clean and organized as the Alsip location, it remains in good shape. The facility can be chaotic at times due to the volume of work and people. It includes security checkpoints and multiple break rooms.

Both facilities handle non-harmful chemicals, provide excellent employee benefits, and have similar operations focused on manufacturing, bottling, staging, and shipping products.
