This job was posted by : For more information, please see: Receives and distributes communications; mail, phone, email, etc.Copies and stores documents and records, insuring accurate archives of such and purging as requested.Maintains inventory of office supplies and anticipates supply needs; supports Shop and Salesmen in their supply/job needs, ensures prompt ordering and receipt of supplies and delivers to appropriate areas. Provides office communications support by fielding calls, answering questions, forwarding messages, confirming orders and keeping customers informed of order status through the direction of the Shop Superintendent.Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting failures, calling for repairs and monitoring equipment operations.Responsible for the timely and accurate filing of various reports and dues (Local Union Dues, National Union Dues, IL Sales and Use Tax, Non-Bargained Employee Health Insurance, OSHA required reports, etc.).Periodically reviews and updates Standard Operating Procedures as required.Responsible for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, weekly Payroll, Sales Tracker Report, Loss Control (Safety), Employee Time Cards, Birthday Cards, Safety Stuffers, Petty Cash, Job Sheets, Capital One Credit Card, Workman's Comp claims and various other specialized projects as requested.
