This position entails supporting Financial Systems training in accordance with the Finance Training Policy and providing support to activities related to the Finance Technology Advancement Program (TAP). Additionally, this position will support the various trainings offered by the EWS Knowledge Center as needed.


  • Design and develop training materials in multiple media formats including Microsoft Word and PowerPoint and Captivate for eLearning training. Use LMS to determine learning needs, monitor training class registrants, assign courses, etc. 30%

  • Ensure users of Financial Systems applications are completing training in accordance to the Finance Training Policy. This includes scheduling and coordinating training classes, daily monitoring tasks, etc. 30%

  • Provide support to LMS end-users utilizing Finance specific content. Additionally, support ad hoc training administration requests for the Finance and EWS organizations. 30%

  • Support activities related to Finance Technology Advancement Program (TAP) initiatives through the TAP ambassador network, communications, presentations, user groups, meetings, SharePoint website, and email. Support Finance Hyperion Certification Program. 10%




  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, accounting, finance, psychology, general business administration, or communications

  • Word, Excel, PowerPoint

  • Good oral and written communication skills

  • Demonstrated ability to document processes

  • Commitment to highest standards of quality and integrity

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Good interpersonal skills and team working capabilities

  • Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects and tasks

  • Comfortable with ambiguity

  • Demonstrated ability to operate in a fast, complex, and changing environment


  • Utility industry experience

  • Microsoft SharePoint

  • Adobe Captivate

  • Learning Management System (LMS) Applications

  • PeopleSoft Financials Applications

  • Hyperion Planning / Reporting Applications


  • Support Financial Systems training in accordance to the Finance Training Policy.

  • Develop and maintain training materials using multiple media formats including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Captivate.

  • Support the Finance Technology Advancement Program (TAP) under the guidance and direction of the TAP Lead Analyst.
