Job Description:

Global Business Service (GBS) processes transactions for over 2,000 operators and more than 15,000 Restaurants in North America. GBS also helps account for and manages over $10 billion in fixed assets. GBS is responsible for the billing and collection of rents and service fees, as well as the construction payment and related fixed asset accounting processes. GBS provides lease and contract accounting services and supports the North American Agenda initiatives. Key customers include the Finance and Development Teams, the Controller Groups, Franchising, and Legal.

Responsibilities: 

This position is responsible for Franchisee leases and providing support to McDonald’s 3rd party vendor that maintains accounts receivable, billings and collections.

Verbal and written communication in French required

Specific tasks include but are not limited to:

  • Setting rents for new restaurants, rebuilds, rewrites, and changes in ownership.

  • Reconciling assigned general ledger accounts.

  • Month End close responsibilities.

  • Supporting accounts receivable escalations and select activities

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience in an accounting or related field.

  • 1+ years of experience analyzing data.

  • 1+ years of customer service experience.

  • Verbal and written communication in French required

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field (preferred).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

  • Ability to manage priorities with tight deadlines.

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

  • Strong Customer Service Orientation.

  • Flexibility for a changing environment.

  • Continuous Improvement Mindset.

  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and an ERP system.
