The Opportunity

Hyatt is seeking an experienced leader for the role of Manager – Distribution Strategy, North America. This key position within Hyatt’s Global Distribution organization involves close collaboration with the Americas commercial team including revenue management, global and regional sales, and field marketing teams. Responsibilities include driving distribution strategy, enhancing relationships with key distribution partners, and managing revenue at both global and regional levels.

As the Manager of Distribution Strategy, you will support partner negotiations and develop business for North America-focused distribution channels, particularly online travel agencies and other key partners. You will be instrumental in shaping Hyatt’s strategic direction, delivering well-rounded and actionable insights, and creating structured partner engagement strategies.

The Role

The Manager drives distribution strategy, partner engagement, and hotel engagement for the North America region. Primary responsibilities include:

•Manage third-party channel relationships, ensuring alignment with global strategy.

•Drive account planning and support major distribution relationships with online travel agencies.

•Monitor and improve distribution health for the North America portfolio in partnership with commercial teams.

•Identify and implement tools and training that assist hotels in determining best-in-class channel mix to drive profitability and market share.

•Support business development in North America, assessing new opportunities, developing deal frameworks, and aiding negotiations.

•Engage regularly with North America commercial teams across sales, revenue management, marketing, and other internal stakeholders to understand the dynamics of the third-party distribution business and the contributing factors.

•Use data-driven approaches to identify and track channel optimization opportunities.

•Assist in field education to support hotel execution of Hyatt’s distribution strategy and represent the Global Distribution team at meetings.

•Oversee and develop content efforts, including internal newsletter, reference guides, POVs on new products, tactics, and other materials as needed.

•Support enterprise distribution initiatives for the Americas, including technology transformations and process improvements.

•Provide direct support for regional key account operations, innovating processes for account activation, hotel support, and openings.

•Participate in Hyatt’s Diversity & Inclusion activities.

Qualifications:

Experience Required:

•5 years of experience preferred in lodging or travel distribution, strategic partnerships, strategy development, or other relevant experience

Experience Preferred:

•Bachelor’s degree in business or related field

•Knowledge of the travel distribution landscape, including technology, channels, and tools
