Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Manager, Revenue Integrity in Chicago, Illinois. As part of our team, the role will focus on overseeing and enhancing revenue cycle processes, ensuring accurate and timely billing, navigating healthcare regulations, and identifying opportunities for improvement. This role is crucial for maintaining our organization's financial health and mitigating financial risks.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee and improve revenue cycle processes to ensure timely and accurate billing.
• Comply with healthcare regulations and standards, including monitoring coding, documentation, and charge capture accuracy.
• Collaborate with relevant departments to develop and update fee schedules that reflect our pricing strategy and compliance with regulations.
• Maintain data integrity in revenue cycle reporting and analyze financial data to identify discrepancies, trends, and areas for improvement.
• Implement best practices and process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Work closely with various stakeholders such as third-party billing business partners and Clinical Operations to ensure a seamless revenue cycle process.
• Assist Clinical Operations in onboarding newly acquired provider groups and proactively analyze individual providers to identify areas of improvement.
• Coordinate ongoing training efforts for providers and staff on revenue integrity topics.
• Monitor key performance indicators related to the performance of the revenue cycle to ensure targets are met and identify areas needing attention.
• Lead regular meetings with relevant departments and business partners to track progress towards performance opportunities identified and provide executive level progress/status reports. Requirements
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a related role
• Strong understanding of Accounts Receivable (AR), Auditing, Billing Functions, Claim Administration, and Clinical Trial Operations
• Exceptional leadership and managerial skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is preferred
• Proven track record in maintaining the integrity of revenue management systems
• Ability to ensure compliance with industry regulations and organizational policies
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and other related software
• Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize tasks and handle numerous assignments simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work output.
