What you'll be doing

As a Talent Acquisition Partner, you’ll support our Private Wealth business by developing sourcing plans and actively recruiting best-in-class talent to help us achieve business goals and deliver an exceptional client and employee experience. You’ll provide a superior level of client service to the business by anticipating next level questions, consulting with hiring managers and leaders, proactively addressing issues to find solutions, and influencing stakeholders to drive hiring goals.

How you'll succeed `

  • Provide exceptional client service and full lifecycle recruiting for Private Wealth business.

  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with hiring managers, business leaders, internal partners, and candidates.

  • Deliver a best-in-class candidate experience by managing your talent pipeline and engaging in regular communication. Consult with business partners on Talent Acquisition processes, activities, and outcomes.

  • Identify strategies and sourcing channels to assemble a pipeline of candidates for your assigned portfolio. Establish connections, maintain and leverage a professional online and social media presence, and prospect talent through your network.

  • Provide trusted advice to hiring managers by using diverse interviewing and assessment techniques to validate candidate experience levels.

  • Keep current on labor market trends and competitor information, providing business partners with insights and recommendations that will improve the quality of external hires. Assemble deep subject matter expertise in your portfolio to better forecast and affect hiring plans and decisions.

  • Review resumes and prescreen candidates for appropriateness of skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements.

  • Maintain primary relationship and communication with candidates throughout the recruitment and onboarding lifecycle.

  • Consult with hiring managers and compensation team to develop and negotiate competitive offers.

  • Assist in the scheduling and logistics of interviews between candidates and hiring managers.

  • Complete new hire onboarding process with accuracy.

  • Other duties, including special projects, as assigned.

Who you are

  • You have a minimum of 5 years related recruitment experience within the financial services industry.

  • You can demonstrate a successful track record of identifying talent in Private Wealth / Private Banking.

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or related field.

  • It’s an asset if you have experience with diversity sourcing and working with Workday applicant tracking system.

  • You possess a superior ability to prioritize, organize, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to communicate effectively with our client partners is key to success.

At CIBC, we offer a competitive total rewards package.  This role has an expected salary range of $90,000 - $115,000 for the New York and Colorado markets based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position.  The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which also may include a discretionary bonus component. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location. Additional total compensation and benefits details will be provided during the hiring process.
