You coordinate and implement our operational excellence program to help our leaders deliver results. A core part of this role is to create a continuous improvement (CI) mindset and to provide tools and technique capabilities to develop organizational self-sufficiency.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

  • Shape and drive MDLZ Global Employee Engagement vision and strategy, designing programs that align with MDLZ mission and business goals.

  • Align key stakeholders and engagement partners across the People Team with the Engagement V2030 Ambition and objectives, Engagement Model, and recommended approach for Action Taking.

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to integrate employee engagement strategies into broader organizational initiatives.

Program Development and Management:

  • Define survey activation strategies and processes in partnership with People Services and the vendor partner (Viva Glint) to boost engagement, making sure end-user critical requirements are considered and addressed.

Culture and Communication:

  • Champion and cultivate a positive organizational culture that promotes the importance of engagement and the critical role of leaders and managers.

  • Develop and execute communication strategies with CGA to ensure consistent and effective messaging related to engagement initiatives.

  • Provide training, coaching and guidance to the People Team, Leaders, and Managers.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Analyze engagement metrics and trends to inform decision-making and strategy adjustments.

  • Work in partnership with People Analytics COE to identify actionable and relevant insights across the enterprise.

  • Prepare and present regular reports on engagement levels, “hot spots”, proposed actions and ROI to executive leadership and stakeholders.

Change Management:

  • Provide guidance and support to managers and leaders in fostering a culture of engagement and adapting to change.

  • Provide guidance to BUs and Functions on ad-hoc listening needs.

Best Practices and Industry Trends:

  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in employee listening and incorporate them into company strategies.

  • Benchmark against industry standards and competitors to continuously improve engagement programs.

Required Competencies:

  • The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record in developing and implementing people programs, ideally engagement programs that enhance employee satisfaction, retention, and productivity.

  • Presents to and engages with large and small audiences with confidence and impact, especially executive levels.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including displaying analysis effectively and tailoring messages to various audiences.

  • Proven track record defining and implementing innovative solutions with measurable outcomes.

  • Approaches problem solving with an analytical perspective.

  • Navigates complexity and cultural differences when developing and implementing global programs.

  • Sound judgment and decision-making abilities – knows when to escalate or de-escalate.

  • Excellent relationship skills with peers, employees, and partners; responds with empathy in a diverse environment, building consensus, and managing conflict.

  • Strong organizational skills, with comfort working independently and collaboratively.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, organizational development, or a related field.

  • 7+ years of experience focused on human resources, with success implementing measurable employee listening and engagement initiatives.

  • Ability to articulate the importance of engagement and understanding of best practices that affect organizational change.
