JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Creating design concepts for Undercarriage Arrangements
Leading design reviews and then completing the releasing and detailing.
Research and investigate the design, functionality and maintenance of mechanical products, equipment, systems and processes.
Responsible for making engineering drawings, and read and interpret blueprints.
Research, design, develop, manufacture, and test tools, engines, machines and other mechanical devices.
Research and analyze customer design proposals, specifications, manuals to determine time and cost feasibility to complete projects.
Investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation and make recommendation to maintenance crew.
Assist drafters in developing the structural design of products using tools, equipment or software. * Oversee installation, operation, maintenance and repair to ensure that machines and equipment are installed and functioning according to specifications.
Implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions, and provide technical information.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and/OR
Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience
Creo / Solid modeling experience
Ability to read and understand Engineering Drawings, 1E Specifications, and GD&T.
Emphasis on initiative and self-starting tasks
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Undercarriage Design Experience
Structures Design Experience
Hydraulics Experience
Willingness to work with Global Customers, Suppliers, and Process Partners
Mechanical aptitude, and the ability troubleshoot Hydraulic, Structure and Mechanical systems
Strong analytical skills
