The Coca-Cola Company 3rd SHIFT Warehouse Technician III (Lead) Mon-Fri, 5:00pm to 1:30am in Chino, California

As a Warehouse Lead, you'll be responsible for overseeing & updating quality system documents, facilitating review & reconciliation of interim storage locations, and serving as lead on warehouse focused improvement projects. This role will also support the warehouse staff and back up the Shipping Coordinator and Crew Leads. We're looking for someone that is detail oriented with a passion for leading and managing multiple projects.

Position-Related Duties and Key Responsibilities

  • Co-lead factory installation improvement projects.

  • Responsible for reporting, overseeing weekly interim location reconciliation & reporting and quality system documents.

  • Review pack-out logs and resolve discrepancies with Production reporting vs. Warehouse confirmation

  • Follows established procedures and guidelines to handle, record and dispatch goods in a store or warehouse, which includes receiving incoming goods, checks for damage and discrepancies between goods and invoices.

  • Picks orders, packs, and dispatches outgoing goods according to written or verbal orders and enters data into a database or other computerized system to maintain up-to-date stock and inventory records. Properly prepares shipments, loads vehicles, and prepares necessary documentation for all shipments.

  • Operates forklift to move freight into and out of the warehouse.

  • Loads and unloads freight and assists in the control of storage areas for packaging materials, ingredients, and finished product and may schedule freight movements in cooperation with immediate team leaders and/or production team leaders.

  • Assists with shipping personnel and Plant Quality Assurance to handle, sample, driver check in/out processes and make proper disposition of all excess/rejected ingredients.

  • Ensures that correct security procedures are observed in handling of packaging materials, ingredients, finished product, shipments, paperwork and general freight movement into and out of the warehouse.

  • Assists in inventory control procedures (e.g. cycle counting) for all packaging materials, ingredients, and finished product.

  • Familiarizes themselves with Company and Plant policies concerning traffic procedures, security, reports, and with applicable Federal and industry regulations concerning freight shipments.

  • Performs other duties related to Good Manufacturing Practices, shipping, receiving, minor maintenance, or other duties as required by the supervisor.

Education and Additional Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED

  • 3+ years of related experience

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English

  • Consistently demonstrate leadership qualities

  • Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

  • Requires manual moving of materials weighing 50 pounds distances of 10 feet or more

  • Work in extreme temperatures for the length of shift

  • Ability to work weekends, holidays and overtime if needed to support business needs

  • Ability to understand, record, and communicate material and product information

  • Good computer skills

  • Good attendance and performance record

  • Know and follow all Goods Manufacturing Process (GMP), safety, attendance, and rules of conduct guidelines

  • Adhere to all company policies and processes
