The Coca-Cola Company Advanced Production Scheduling Specialist in Cidra, Puerto Rico

We are seeking a skilled Advanced Production Scheduling Specialist to manage our manufacturing processes through the use of the Siemens Opcenter APS (Advanced Planning and Scheduling) software. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of production scheduling and capacity planning. They will also have a high level of technical expertise, including familiarity with Siemens Opcenter APS and other relevant scheduling and planning systems.Responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

  • Create and manage the production schedule using Siemens Opcenter APS software, ensuring the maximization of efficiency and the meeting of production targets.

  • Analyze and interpret complex production data, identifying potential issues and implementing solutions as necessary to realize operational objectives.

  • Continually review the production process to identify areas for improvement and implement changes where necessary.

  • Coordinate and communicate with production and management teams to ensure accurate scheduling information is relayed and understood.

  • Resolve any conflicts that arise from schedule changes, ensuring minimal disruption to the manufacturing process.

  • Liaise with the production team to understand material requirements and ensure the schedule can be met.

  • Detect and handle any capacity issues in production, optimizing resources for overall operational efficiency.

  • Conduct scenario planning and simulations for business continuity planning, backups, etc., for global and regional systems.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years' experience in a production scheduling role within a manufacturing environment.

  • Extensive experience with Siemens Opcenter APS or equivalent APS software.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, working with stakeholders of all levels.

  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, as well as familiarity with SQL and database systems.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
