Dematic has immediate needs for an experienced Electrical Controls Engineer in our Global Project Engineering (GPE) group! Candidates will have 0-5 years experience. Employees will be based out of our Grand Rapids, MI office location, however, must be willing to travel up to 40% to customer locations in the USA. The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $60,000 to $90,000 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills. Tasks and Qualifications:This Is What You Will Do in This Role Completes recommendations for ideas related to productivity improvement, cost reduction and improvement in customer satisfaction. Performs complex technical interchange and knowledge transfer for both processes and application of products to system operation and design. Performs full range of standard work for the professional field. Identifies and resolves more complex problems and applies problem-solving skills in order to deal with most situations. What We Are Looking For BS/BA in electrical engineering or advanced degree. 1 year of successful experience in related field preferred. Demonstrates and applies a broad knowledge of field of specialization through successful completion of complex assignments. Demonstrates knowledge of organization's business practices and issues. Experience AutoCAD/Maestro a plus. Experience in Allen Bradley, Rockwell or Siemens PLCs. Knowledge of AC drives, both open & closed loop. Experience in Ethernet IP network design and machine safety a plus. Experience in Scanning Devices using Photo recognition and/or Placement photo eyes. Experience with data mining of Sequel Server, Solar Winds, Biq Query or an equivalent data base.
