Job Description

An outpatient Surgery Clinic is looking for 2 Medical Assistants for a contract to hire opportunity in the Cincinnati, OH area. This healthcare client is looking for candidates to function as an integral part of the Clinical office staff where the Medical Assistants perform administrative and clinical duties. This will be in the department of surgery, specifically working in weight loss, thoracic or colerectal unit. This individual is responsible for obtaining intake information for a specific patient population, performing tasks and treatments as delegated by licensed personnel and direct patient care as required. Responsible for scheduling test and procedures ordered by the provider and providing limited patient education and instructions associated with these tests and procedures. This Medical Assistant is to perform at the highest of their education/skillset and be a team player, critical thinker and responsible demeanor. These MA's will be seeing patients with routine appointments or procedure specific appointments.
