TEKsystems Help Desk Specialist in Cincinnati, Ohio

Description:

TEKsystems has partnered with a local client to recruit a Helpdesk Support Technician for a 1-year contract. The candidate will be responsible for responding to client staff's telephone inquiries regarding support, processing or request procedures, systems status, network connectivity, and various hardware and software problems of all installed application hardware and software products supported by IT. They will also record inquiries, repair and service requests, resolve or direct requests to the appropriate technical area or vendor, track status, and follow up to ensure client satisfaction. In addition, they will perform other assigned or requested duties.

Ideal candidates should possess good analytical and communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to work effectively with clients and IT staff. They will receive immediate and close supervision.

Minimum qualifications for the position include proficiency in Windows 10, Microsoft Suite, Active Directory, basic networking, software deployment tools (SCCM),

iOS/Android experience, excellent troubleshooting skills, excellent customer service skills, quality research skills to aid in the troubleshooting and resolution of user problems, experience using ticketing systems for incident and request management, thorough ticketing management skills, and excellent attendance.
