LLM Engineer Job Locations United States-OH-Cincinnati Category Feasibility & Proposals Job Summary Are you a highly skilled Computer Engineer with a passion for Natural Language Processing (NLP) and deep learning? Do you have a proven track record of successfully implementing and fine-tuning large language models (LLMs) for interactive AI applications? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to lead a groundbreaking project at Medpace. We are seeking an experienced professional to lead the implementation and fine-tuning of a Large Language Model hosted privately for our company. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in leveraging cutting-edge technology to revolutionize how our company operates and interacts with AI-driven systems. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including business, IT, and data science, to design the roadmap for how an LLM can enhance the efficiency of our company's processes. Responsibilities * Lead the fine-tuning and optimization of a privately hosted Large Language Model. * Collaborate with business, IT, and data science teams to identify opportunities for AI-driven improvements in company processes. * Design and execute the strategic roadmap for implementing the LLM, ensuring alignment with company objectives. * Independently lead the project, taking full ownership of its success. * Train and mentor technical teams to provide ongoing support for the LLM. Qualifications Masters or PhD in engineering, computer or data science, or related field. Proven experience implementing and fine-tuning Large Language Models for interactive AI applications (either >1 year post-graduate experience, or PhD dissertation experience) Strong background in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and deep learning. Technical proficiency in programming languages and frameworks commonly used in NLP and AI (e.g., Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch). Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Demonstrated ability to lead projects independently and mentor technical teams.
