Position Overview

?

 

The role involves environmental due diligence support, including conducting Phase I and Phase II environmental site assessments and reviewing third-party due diligence reports. Environmental compliance will be a major aspect of this position, including environmental permitting and compliance; developing SPCC Plans, SWPPPs, and NPDES permits; and providing hazardous waste, hazardous materials, EMS, and other environmental regulatory compliance services. To support our compliance services, the role involves performing regulatory research for multiple states and federal regulations. 

 

This role includes field support for soil and groundwater investigations and remediation implementation including soil boring installation; monitoring well installation; soil, groundwater, surface water, and stormwater sample collection; remediation system operations and maintenance (O&M) and troubleshooting; and field and construction oversight and management.? Mechanical aptitude, self-motivation, and a strong work ethic are required.  The position requires working at active and closed energy, commercial, industrial, municipal, and federal site locations.

 

This role includes technical report preparation, project management assistance, and data management and interpretation. This position includes preparation of environmental permits and plans requiring an interest in and willingness to learn environmental regulations. Applicants must have good technical writing and Microsoft Office skills.  GIS or CADD training is a plus.

 

This position will require willingness to travel for field work (up to 50% of work time may include travel) and a clean driving record.  This position is responsible for the administration and stewardship of health and safety programs at sites, communicating with project management and client(s) concerning site activity, and a demonstrated commitment to safe operations.

The preferred candidate will be based in our Cincinnati, OH office. 

 

Mandatory Qualifications

?

 

  • 2-5+ years of relevant experience  

A bachelor's degree in Geology, Geologic Engineering, or Hydrogeology. Master's degree preferred.

 

Willingness to obtain PG
