What you will be doing Analyzes and manages all communications from the beginning phase of receiving Patent Invention Disclosure Forms or Trademark Clearance Forms through the expiration of Intellectual Property rights, with a focus on patents. Dockets communications or other project-related issues like annuities, for tracking activities related to deadlines and due dates. Works in tandem with the Intellectual Property Legal Team to support all aspects of intellectual property protection, litigation and M&A. Serves as a liaison with the Legal Teams (both in-house and outside counsel) and Business Teams to assist with the flow and exchange of information. Communicates with the Legal and Business Teams to assure timely preparation and filing of intellectual property documents and information. Reviews and assists in monitoring and updating department procedures and materials pertaining to the protection of intellectual property. Creates, organizes and maintains files for this position, including billing and annuity files; and is the point of contact for IPFolio document management system.. Other related duties assigned as needed. What you bring Paralegal Certificate in Intellectual Property or Patent Law a Plus Typically requires five or more years' work experience in the field. The pay range for this full-time position is $103,010.00 - $173,060.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
