Amazon.MX is seeking an innovative and experienced leader to join the Brand, deals & events team with responsibility for managing top-of-the-funnel Retail & Prime brand campaign strategy and execution. The position is responsible for Cross-channel (XCM) brand strategy; which includes campaign management, sponsorship execution and media mix development. They will work closely with creative and media resources to achieve brand and business goals.
He/ She will also work closely with multi-functional teams across the stores (including Emerging Markets and Global teams), Category teams, Prime, Amazon Music, Payments, Alexa, and other partner organizations to bring the Amazon brand to life and establish it as a cultural statement in Mexico. He/she will need to have a strong understanding of Mexican customers and will be responsible for delivering bar-raising branded communications through across all media channels. The Sr. Brand Marketing Manager will report to the Head of Brand, Deals & Events.
Key job responsibilities
• Create brand marketing strategy for the Retail Brand
• Collaborate on brand marketing strategy for the Prime Brand
• Own and implement sponsorship programs
• Determine, initiate, implement and evaluate these marketing approaches, focused on short term and long-term activities
• Work with Emerging Market teams to drive customer insights and media excellence programs
• Work cross-functionally with partner teams and leaders to guide and support the development of marketing plans to support their business goals
• Be a thought leader and work closely with local business leaders to create the strategy for our Mexican Customer
• Develop accurate projects priorities, schedules and execution of marketing campaigns
• Partner cross functionally with creative, Retail, Media and Finance teams to develop the annual plans
• Work collaboratively with the leaders of lower-funnel marketing strategy, media specialist and local business leaders to develop plans that optimize advertising across the product portfolio
• Develop compelling, relevant strategic input docs and creative briefs for creative development

The Sr. Brand Marketing Manager will work as the leader of all top-of-the-funnel strategy and execution for Amazon Retail and Prime Brands in Mexico. They will work with a creative agency, a media agency and tenured staff in our team to build winning cross-channel media campaigns. They need to balance bar-raising creativity, deep data analytics and high standards for execution.

Basic Qualifications
8+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
5+ years of developing and managing acquisition marketing or channel programs experience
Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
Experience developing and executing campaigns across a multitude of timezones and languages
Speak, write, and read fluently in English
Bachelor's Degree or certificate of completion of studies required
Preferred Qualifications
Experience driving direction and alignment with large cross-functional teams and agency partners
Experience designing and executing joint marketing plans with strategic alliance partners with global footprint
Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
