Overview:

As the Lead DevOps Engineer, you will spearhead initiatives aimed at developing robust CI/CD solutions, ensuring high availability of production systems, refining monitoring and observability tools, and advancing automation around End of Life Migration solutions. A key aspect of this role involves mentoring team members and refining standard processes across our database groups.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop CI/CD solutions for MSSQL and Oracle consumers

• Write code to maintain high availability of production systems

• Enhance monitoring and observability solutions for self-service data access

• Refine automation around End of Life Migration solutions

• Mentor team members, conduct training sessions, and facilitate peer reviews

• Collaborate with direct managers to implement effective feedback loops and development plans

• Interact with team members and peers to instill confidence and trust, regardless of skill level

• Contribute to agile ceremonies and drive short and long-term roadmaps for the engineering team

Education and Experience Required:

Associate’s degree and a minimum of 8 years’ technical experience,

OR in lieu of a degree,

A combined minimum of 10 years’ higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 8 years’ technical experience

Minimum 5 years of experience in DevOps and related technologies

Expertise in system automation, deployment, and implementation

Proficiency in Python with strong coding skills

Exposure to Microsoft SQL or Oracle is preferred

Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform is a plus

Strong proficiency in Windows Server, Linux, Ansible, Shell Scripting, Java, and GitLab

Preferred experience with cloud platforms, particularly Azure, and solid knowledge of cloud infrastructure
