"Job#: 2026090 Job Description: Job title: Tax AccountantLocation: Clayton, MissouriPay rate: $35.75-$39.00/hrContract: 6 month contractThree days on siteThe Tax Accountant-Intermediate assists the clientsCommunity Impact Capital team review partnership tax returns related to investments in Low-Income Housting Tax Credits.Duties and Responsibilities: * Review complex partnership tax returns and related reports and analyses. * Coordinates communication and tracking of approximately 100 tax returns as they are reviewed. May be asked to review GAAP audited financial statements and assist with spreading financial information on investments.. Training will be provided to assist. * Performs other duties as assigned.Basic Qualifications:* 3-5 years in Partnership Tax experience* Bachelor's Degree in AccountingPreferred Qualifications:* Strong Corporate tax return experience* Familiarity with tax compliance systems* Proficiency in basic Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, etc.)* Fast paced and detail oriented* Ability to prioritize and simultaneously handle deadlines, ad hoc requests, and regular deliverables* CPA preferred* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organizationEEO EmployerApex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
