Job Description

This Sr. Process Engineer & Consultant role will work cross-functionally across business lines as part of the Enterprise Continuous Improvement team within the Banking Chief Administrative Office. This position works autonomously and demonstrates strong Key leadership competencies in driving strategically focused cross-functional improvement efforts, along with cultural transformations. Specifically, the candidate will be charged with leveraging their advanced and proficient skills in continuous improvement tools and methodologies, along with analytical capabilities in partnership with peer Process Engineers, Analysts, internal and external customers, and various levels of management in driving the identification of transformative opportunities for improvement, optimized business processes, enhanced automation, and accurate measurement systems.


The Sr. Process Engineer & Consultant will:

  • Execute on transformational efforts and act in an advisory capacity to assigned project leaders and Sr. stakeholders within a business unit or business units on operational excellence and continuous improvement aligned to improving the client experience and meeting strategic objectives.

  • Strong Data Quality and Measurement Systems – ability to work with business units to develop customer centric data/measurement systems that support the business strategy for revenue

  • Lead end to end improvement efforts and major initiatives with focus on core business processes to deliver results aligned to strategic objectives – improved client and/or employee experience, value attainment – expense and revenue

  • Build relationships within business unit and across enterprise to enable cooperative and collaborative achievement of business objectives.

  • Drive a culture of client centric process excellence setting the pace of change and sharing best practices across business units.

  • Identify, advise, and deliver on solutions to complex problems, requiring a high degree of ingenuity, creativity, and innovation.

  • Continually evaluate and learn new tools, processes or approaches to further the capabilities within the team to improve existing processes.

  • Exhibits solid character and strength in executing agreed upon engagement activities; conveying confidence and reliability

  • Strategic thinker; demonstrates the ability to anticipate client needs; ability to identify & solve complex problems utilizing strong conflict management skills. Understands business model and project contribution to meet business strategy, including financial & risk impacts

  • Collaborates within ECI and across teams to create an atmosphere of openness and inclusiveness to deliver expected results and value

  • Accepts and adapts to feedback to drive personal improvement


  • Bachelor s Degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Management/Sciences, or related field

  • 5+ years in business consulting or a transformational role, to include working with customer facing businesses and/or customers. Substantiated comfort level with senior leadership across an organization without boundaries; understands the culture and how to navigate to achieve desired outcomes.

  • Ability to operate with a results-oriented focus and strong sense of urgency.

  • Demonstrated experience in driving business transformation or client centric process improvement including a mastery of broad range of service model/strategy/ transformational/process improvement approaches and certifications – e.g. Lean, Black Belt Six Sigma, Business Process Management, Design Thinking, Change Management, Agile, Resource Capacity Mgt., Technology Optimization, and Business Intelligence.

  • Strong technical and analytical skills

  • Proficiency with MS Office, MS Project, MS Visio, Minitab, Sigma Excel, SharePoint, and creating complex data and process visualizations that tell the story to all levels of the organization

  • Proficient at collecting performance measurements, creating dashboards and monitoring on-going performance

  • Driven to deliver on commitments, remove barriers and effectively leverage resources to deliver quality results
