MetroHealth Manager - Performance Management/Talent Management in CLEVELAND, Ohio

Location: METROHEALTH MEDICAL CENTER

Biweekly Hours: 80.00

Shift: M-F 8:00 - 5:00

Summary:

Develops and enhances Performance Management Programs for all levels of employees throughout The MetroHealth System (MHS) that support institutional and departmental goals and objectives. Designs, implements, and conducts performance management educational and training programs for management staff. Develops, tracks, and monitors development plans for all employees in the system. Develops communication materials for the performance management systems. Works collaboratively with VP/Chief Learning & Culture Officer to develop, coordinate, and implement the Performance Management process and other leadership initiatives to improve employee performance and effectiveness. Integrates performance management into all phases of leadership development. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Organizational Development, Business, Human Resources, or related field or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in addition to the experience stated below.

  • Demonstrated professional experience in performance management, adult learning theory and curriculum development, Human Resources, and/or Leadership Development.

  • Proven ability to interact credibly and effectively with all levels of the organization.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with high attention to detail and follow through.

  • Strong organizational skills, effective time management and follow-up skills with a capacity to deal with multiple, changing priorities.

  • Demonstrated experience in effectively facilitating small and large group interactions.

  • Sound, working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) or similar software packages.

  • Ability to use, understand and interpret a wide variety of business-related statistical reports.

  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills conveying competence and professionalism.

Preferred: Master’s Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Organizational Psychology, Business, or related field. Human Resources Certification: PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCO. Three years of management experience in a hospital environment to include assessment of cost effectiveness of systems, planning and management for space and equipment, management of diverse levels of employees, and planning and implementation of systems and procedures. Demonstrated experience in change management. Organizational and/or coaching certificate.

Physical Demands: May need to move around intermittently during the day, including sitting, standing, stooping, bending, and walking. May need to remain still for extended periods, including sitting and standing. Ability to communicate in face-to-face, phone, email, and other communications. Ability to read job related documents. Ability to use computer.
