University Hospitals Health System Patient Care Nursing Assistant (PCNA) in Cleveland, Ohio
Description This requisition includes any of the following floors: Lerner Tower 3, Lerner Tower 5, Lerner Tower 7, Lerner Tower 8, Lerner Tower 9, CICU, Trauma ICU and the NSU. Schedules: this requisition has variable shifts (Days, Evenings, Nights) as well as variable hours (Full Time, Part Time or PRN) based on current floor needs. The Patient Care Nursing Associate PCNA completes patient care activities as delegated by the RN. PCAs perform duties including, but not limited to, ADLs, vital signs, I and Os, 12 lead ECG, bladder scan, hygiene and venipuncture where applicable. Familiarity with using wheelchairs, EKG equipment, patient assistive devices, and patient care equipment specific to assigned population. Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills both written and verbal, as well as, exhibiting strong organizational skills and work ethic Demonstrates a professional demeanor when responding to patients and customers Basic computer data entry skills.
