Compensation $19.25/ hr

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Operating and servicing equipment such as packaging, sealing/sewing equipment, stretch wrapping manual, palletizing, block press, mixing equipment, forklift, and palletizer equipment.

  • Conducting pre-operation checks of equipment

  • General classification labor assignments

  • Sampling and testing product quality

  • Understanding and adhering to all safety policies and procedures

  • Maintaining a safe and clean work environment

  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship

  • Must be 18 years or older

  • Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)

  • Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs., kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation

  • Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts

  • Ability to operate equipment safely and effectively.

  • Commitment to safety and exhibits acceptable safety performance

  • Ability to interpret and understand reports, safety/operating procedures & other policies and procedures and utilize equipment checklists

  • Ability to perform all phases of the packaging operation

  • Ability to maintain a clean work area.

  • Willingness to complete other assignments as directed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to work effectively with others as part of a team

  • Ability to operate equipment related to the classification

  • Ability to perform lubrication, servicing and minor maintenance for equipment related to the classification.

  • Willingness to complete other assignments as directed.
