Emerson Employee Experience & Communication Specialist - 1 year in CLUJ NAPOCA, Romania

As the Employee Experience & Communications Specialist, you will be working within the Europe HR Team for Systems & Software Europe with a special focus on improving employee experience and internal communications. You will collaborate with the Systems & Software HR Team, Country HR Leaders, and Systems & Software People Managers to execute programs and processes that drive higher levels of employee engagement. The role will be responsible for performing a combination of strategic and practical initiatives that support an outstanding employee experience and contribute to a healthy and engaging work environment. The role will also lead the innovation and continuous improvement of our employee communications. Also, you will help and support other Europe HR activities as needed.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • To review data from our Employee Listening Program and identify key drivers for employee engagement. Develop a plan passionate about outstanding Employee Experiences.

  • To align with the Emerson global Employee Value Proposition and lead actions to improve employee lifecycle touchpoints.

  • To cultivate and implement initiatives to strengthen employee relationships, social networks (physical & virtual), and interaction with the organization, focusing on key “moments that matter.”

  • To help our People Managers prioritize employee experience by equipping them with tools and resources to get things right the first time.

  • To develop an optimized communication strategy and innovative, engaging media and templates for our employee channels, that align with the Emerson Global Communication Framework.

  • To support talent management, employee development, retention, performance management, and organizational change programs as needed.

  • To be a champion for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and ensure our Employee Experience & Communications are inclusive by design.

  • Educated to a degree level or qualification by experience.

  • Creativity: The ability to present information compellingly and engagingly that collects employees' attention and promotes comprehension.

  • Organizational Skills: The ability to lead multiple projects, meet deadlines, and handle your workload.

  • Attention to Detail: A high level of accuracy is important for ensuring information is communicated accurately and authoritatively.

  • Analytical Skills: Ability to gather data and draw insights to measure the efficiency of communication efforts.

  • Experience operating across multiple geographies, collaborators, cultures, and teams.

  • Relationship Management: Ability to build strong professional relationships with different collaborators in the company.

  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to align internal communication strategies with the company's business objectives.
