The EMEA Regional Operational will lead our tactical procurement for $ 100M in spend across the 4 FED (Fuel & Electrical Distribution Division) EMEA sites. He/She will use their knowledge of procurement process, supplier management, materials management, and continuous improvement tools, to lead the site based SCM/Procurment managers in improving supplier delivery and quality. Additional responsiblities include, providing functional guidance and establishing governance for the procurment processes and standards within the manufacturing sites such as PO placement, advanced replenishment (VMIC/Supplier scheudule) managment, supplier SIOP.

What you’ll do:

  • Leadership escalation with key suppliers for recovery or expedited requests.Onsite presence at EMEA suppliers (50% travel).

  • Establishing and maintaining best-in-class processes. Developing and maintaining supplier performance analysis.

  • Building commodity knowledge for effective supplier management. Monitoring overall supplier metrics and addressing gaps.

  • Managing reliable on-time site procurement. Fostering a teamwork culture for supply base improvement.

  • Coaching and leading Procurement Managers effectively.

  • Develop individual team member leadership competencies and driving functional excellence in the management and delivery of high risk supplier components, leading supplier continuous improvement activities to improve supplier delivery, forecasting and managing risks within the supply base

  • Lead Site Functional Procurement / Ops Procurement in the Execution, Monitoring, and Controlling of supplier delivery performance , supplier SIOP, and where applicable past due recovery

Qualifications:

  • BS / BA from an accredited institution, preferably in Program Management, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, Engineering

  • aerospace industry will be preferred

  • 10 years’ experience leading complex multi-functional teams

  • 10 years of procurement experience

  • 3-5 years’ experience in manufacturing/operations or Supply chain environment. Eventually

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Communication skills – Fluency in both French and English, both verbal and written with ability to make necessary status reports

  • Organizational and planning skills

  • Planning and scheduling skills

  • Extensive experience Aerospace Sourcing & Materials Processes.

  • Ability to see cross functional teams perspective

  • A balance between strategic thinking/planning skills as well as tactical decisiveness/achieving results

  • Ability to build and improve key relationships with suppliers

  • Ability to assess priorities in a complex and demanding environment.

  • Strong leadership in promoting change to an integrated process environment; demonstrated ability in development of processes.
