Robert Half Programmer Analyst in Collierville, Tennessee

Description

We are seeking a Programmer Analyst to join our client's team in Collierville, Tennessee! This role involves developing web services and APIs, as well as designing and implementing user interfaces in a web environment. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, and related technologies, and will play a crucial role in supporting our client's business strategy and goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement enterprise-scale solutions to align with the organization's business strategy and goals.

  • Design and develop web services and APIs.

  • Create and develop graphical user interfaces in a web environment.

  • Collaborate with business analysts to understand requirements, provide feedback, and seek clarification when needed.

  • Review requirements and data models and translate them into responsible applications and architecture.

  • Adhere to the company's SOA and GUI standards.

  • Track and resolve software defects in a timely manner.

  • Support test execution including system level and integration tests.

  • Utilize JavaScript/TypeScript, NodeJS, Java Frameworks (Hibernate, Spring), and Web Frameworks (Angular) in development tasks.

  • Employ database management and bug tracking skills as part of backend development.

  • Participate in Agile Scrum processes and use Git for version management.

    Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Programmer Analyst or similar role.

  • Proficiency in Backend Development.

  • Experience in Bug Tracking.

  • Proficient in managing and manipulating Databases.

  • Experience in AB Testing.

  • Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies.

  • Proficient in API Development.

  • Strong skills in JavaScript and Typescript.

  • Experience with Angular framework.

  • Proficiency in Java Spring.

  • Experience with Hibernate.

  • Understanding and experience with J2EE.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities.

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field preferred.
